Blinds, curtains, shutters & security doors in Tarneit measured, quoted and installed free from Truganina

Tarneit (3029) is one of the fastest-growing areas in Melbourne's west, and most homes here are new builds with large windows, sliding doors and an alfresco off the living area. We fit a lot of first window coverings in Tarneit: blockout roller blinds for bedrooms, sheer curtains across the living room glass, and security doors before the family moves in. Tarneit is a few minutes west of our Truganina base, so we can usually measure within a couple of days and install without travel charges. We work around Tarneit station and the Leakes Road estates, and most Tarneit jobs involve double-storey family homes with narrow side setbacks, so bedroom windows often face a neighbour and need blockout.

What suits homes in Tarneit

New estate homes in Tarneit typically have a 2.4 m or 2.7 m ceiling, square-set windows and a stacker or sliding door to the alfresco. Roller blinds fit neatly inside the reveal; sheer curtains on a ceiling-fixed track give the floor-to-ceiling look that suits these homes. Fly screens are often missing from builder windows, and a sliding security door on the alfresco opening is the most asked-for add-on. The same crew covers Derrimut, Ravenhall, Mount Cottrell and Williams Landing, so if you are just over the border from Tarneit we still come to you.
